Guarachi Family Wines
2008 Chardonnay
Sonoma Mountain

The Guarachi family, like most Chilean families, believe that wine is not only an important part of a meal—wine is a way of life. Wine importer Alex Guarachi is a passionate and dedicated wine professional having served as Founder and President of TGIC Importers. His track record of selecting the best of Chile and Argentina was a logical path to his own wine label. His wines are made by his close friend and talented winemaker Paul Hobbs of Sebastopol. The 2008 Sonoma Mountain Chardonnay is a hedonistic and utterly delicious expression of Chardonnay. It has a beautiful golden color and is loaded with flavors of pear, apple, hazelnuts, honeydew, and toasted buttered brioche. The crisp acidity balances this wine allowing it the potential for long term aging. A delight to drink now, it is a perfect companion to fresh grilled salmon, roast duck, bar-be-qued chicken, and a rosemary scented leg of lamb.
