2003 Chateau Reynella
Shiraz
South Australia

Chateau Reynella was established in 1838 and is the birthplace of some of Australia’s best wines. The current vintage of Shiraz (Syrah) is a deep intense wine almost black crimson in color. The aromas of dark chocolate, blueberry, vanilla and black olive, leads you to sip a wine with a powerful and balanced palate of summer fruit, spice and the goodness of leather in a new car. Very pleasant to drink now with a hearty roast prime rib of beef, or a leg of lamb, this beauty will develop and soften with some bottle age and still be able to show its breed and complexity. Worthy of a search at your favorite wine merchant, and an inquiry will reward you with a wine you’ll cherish both in your cellar and on the dinner table.
